Aim of the project
(Under the contract between Vytautas Magnus University and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania)

To develop normative documents – standards, methodological guidelines and training programmes in the field of career guidance, organize training of career guidance specialists, as well as assessment and accreditation procedure of Career Information Centres.

  • Training:
    1. Training under Vocational Information Methodologies A and B. 30 teachers working in Teachers’ Professional Development Centres were trained in Vilnius. Duration of the training programme – 24 hours.
    2. Training under Methodology C of Career Planning Skills’ Development. 30 teachers working in Teachers’ Professional Development Centres were trained in Vilnius. Duration of the training programme – 8 hours.
    3. Training of 1130 career counsellors under the Vocational Information Methodology B. Duration of the training programme – 16 hours.
    4. Training under Vocational Information Methodology B. 150 career counsellors were trained in Vilnius. Duration of the training programme – 16 hours.
    5. Training under Methodology D of Career Planning Skills’ Development. 480 social educators and school psychologists were trained in Vilnius. Duration of the training programme – 24 hours.
    6. Training under the programme for Career Information Centres’ Audit and Accreditation. 49 experts on accreditation of Career Information Centres were trained in Vilnius and Kaunas. Duration of the training programme – 8 hours.
    7. Seminar “Guidelines for the career guidance practice” for 100 participants was organized in Kaunas. Duration of the seminar – 2 days.
    8. Trainings under the programme for Vocational Information and Career Planning Skills’ Development. 150 teachers working in Teachers’ Professional Development Centres were trained in Vilnius. Duration of the training programme – 8 hours.
    9. Testing of training programme for Career Counsellors’ Qualification Development. 50 career counsellors participated in the process. Duration of the training programme – 24 hours.
