On the initiative of researchers working in the field of Education at Vytautas Magnus University Quality of Studies and Career Research Group (SKKTG) was set up on 09 of January 2012. The SKKT group continuous the research works started and conducted by Centre for Quality of Studies, which was established as a Research Centre in 2002 by VMU Senate. Main aim of SKKT group is to develop research in the fields of quality of studies and career designing in the paradigm of the most advanced world experience. The activities of SKKT group include:

• cooperation and sharing experience with quality of studies and career researchers in Lithuania and abroad;
• dissemination of the research findings, participation in conferences, seminars and scientific discussions;
• development and implementation of national and international projects.

Most of the SKKT group research findings are published in the bilingual (Lithuanian and English languages) journals „The Quality of Higher Education“ and „Career Designing: Research and Counselling“.

Currently SKKT group involves researchers mostly from Vytautas Magnus University. However, researchers in the fields of quality of studies and career from other Lithuanian as well as foreign institutions are also invited to join the group.
